Peer Action 4 Change announces the Western Recovery Conference, its 1st annual mental health conference organized by and for mental health clients/consumers/survivors, in Culver City, California, on March 3-4, 2017.

The conference will feature more than 40 presentations, attract 450 attendees, and includes six meals and Friday and Saturday night entertainment. Registration will be $10 for Los Angeles County residents and $150 for non-residents.

All mental health consumers are invited to consider becoming a presenter.

Send in your proposals for 50-minute  or 75-minute Workshops, Roundtables and Demonstrations. Proposals that speak to the theme, Recovery Moving Forward, will be given preference.

  • Workshops teach new skills
  • Roundtables are discussions on particular issues with everyone part of the discussion
  • Demonstrations showcase particular programs or techniques

Peer Action 4 Change is a new voice for mental health consumers in Los Angeles to advocate on the local, state and federal levels.
